Volunteer for test purchasing
We are looking for volunteers aged 16 or 17 to help us check if shops are selling age-restricted products to underage people. You must have your parent or guardian's permission to volunteer.
This is called test purchasing.
What volunteering involves
You will visit shops with a Trading Standards officer and try to buy age-restricted products. We will check if the shop asks for ID.
We will provide you with:
- Travel to and from home arranged
- Refreshments provided
- Expenses paid
- Experience you can add to your CV
