Financial harm toolkit
Highland Council Trading Standards, in partnership with the Society of Chief Officers of Trading Standards in Scotland (SCOTSS) and the Scottish Government, has created a financial harm self-help toolkit.
The toolkit is designed to help you and those you care for stay safe from scams and financial abuse. It includes practical advice and information on:
- doorstep crime
- email and online scams
- unwanted mail
- online shopping safety
- Covid-19-related scams
- financial abuse and exploitation
- power of attorney
- and more
