Report counterfeit goods

Counterfeit goods are fake versions of branded products. They’re often poor quality, unsafe, and made in unethical conditions. If you suspect something is counterfeit, report it to Trading Standards.

Counterfeit goods can be dangerous because:

  • they may not meet safety standards
  • they often lack guarantees or after-sales support
  • they are usually made in poor conditions, sometimes using child labour
  • they can pose serious health and safety risks
