View planning applications
Highland Council Public Access lets you easily view and track planning applications and related decisions.
Use the Public Access online tool to:
- search for current and historical planning applications, appeals or enforcements
- view application details and documents
- comment on applications (registration required)
- track progress and save searches (registration required)
- receive notifications about updates (registration required)
Ways to search
You can view and search planning applications on Highland Council Public Access without signing in.
- basic search - enter a keyword, application reference, postcode or single line of address
- advanced search - use a combination of filters and criteria to refine your search for more specific results
- map search - explore planning information visually using an interactive map
- property search - look up a particular property to see any planning applications associated with it
If an application has been withdrawn, no associated documents are visible.
