What we include on the map
We have created an interactive map which shows wind energy developments across Highland.
The map includes information on schemes that are:
- constructed
- constructed and removed
- under construction
- approved
- in planning
- refused
- withdrawn
- expired
- at scoping or screening stage
Micro and small turbines
Some micro and small turbine applications made before 2010 are not yet shown on the map. These records are still being digitised from paper files and will be added when available.
