How to apply

To apply:

  1. Download and complete the letter of comfort application form (PDF) 
    1. Include any drawings or plans that help explain the work
  2. Send everything to:

What happens next

After we receive your application, we will inspect the work. We may ask for more information or drawings.

We will decide whether to issue a letter of comfort, but if the work is unsafe or incomplete, we may take enforcement action.
