Access orders
We can use legal powers to create a path where agreement with the landowner is not possible. This is called a path order.
We only make a path order if it:
- is not possible to agree a route
- is in the public interest
- respects the rights of landowners and users

We made a path order for a section of The Peffery Way at Mill Street, Dingwall. This was confirmed by Scottish Ministers on 31 January 2023.
