Legal obligation [Article 6(1)(c) of UKGDPR] – Your personal information is processed because the council must do so to meet its duties under the Equality Act 2010, including the requirement to make reasonable adjustments so that services are accessible to all residents.
Special category data - Where information about a disability or specific accessibility needs is provided, it is processed because doing so is necessary for reasons of substantial public interest [Article 9(2)(g) of UKGDPR]. This includes enabling the council to make reasonable adjustments and to meet its duties under equality legislation.
