Business waste collection service - Privacy notices

Business waste collections are a chargeable collection service. Personal and business premises information is required to administer this. Payment is made via Direct Debit, Invoice or online.

Your contact details (including your email, if supplied), business premises details and service request details are shared with our contractor Permiserv Ltd.  The Contractor provides a secure cloud hosted Customer Management System (CMS) which contains Highland Council Business Waste Collection customer details.  Permit bin sticker printing and mailing is also carried out by the Permiserv Ltd.  No bank account details are shared with the contractor.

If you don't provide contact information we will be unable to process your request to receive the Business Waste Collection service.

Contract - we need to process this personal information to fulfil our contract with the customer (Article 6(1)(b) of GDPR).

Your personal information is not shared with anyone other than the contractor responsible for providing the cloud hosted CMS  as well as the print and mailout of bin permit stickers.

Your information will be held for 2 years after you stop using the service.

Your personal information is not subject to automated decision making or profiling.
