Purpose
Provision of grants to Third Sector organisations
Description

We can provide discretionary and other funding to third sector organisations such as Community Councils, voluntary groups and not-for-profit social enterprises.  Personal information and bank details are required to process applications and make payments.  Grants are normally issued by BACS transfer.

Your contact details (including your telephone and e-mail if supplied) are used to correspond with you in the event that further information about your application is required. 

If you do not give us your information

If you don’t provide contact information and bank details we will not be able to process and where applicable pay, any grant awarded

Conditions for processing personal information

Public Task - Article 6 (1)(e). Processing is necessary for the performance of a task to administer grants issued by Highland Council under the Local Government Scotland Act 2004

Who we share your information with

Your personal information will be shared with Highland Council staff responsible for processing applications and payment of grants.

Your information will be held for six year plus current year.
