Energy awareness training
This training is part of the Green Ambassadors programme. It gives volunteers in council services the knowledge to:
- raise awareness of energy efficiency
- promote ways to reduce energy use
Retirement advice
We offer energy efficiency advice to staff approaching retirement.
Energy use can increase when a home is occupied more often. Our presentations give practical advice on how to reduce energy use in retirement.
Education workshops
We run interactive workshops in primary and secondary schools. These workshops raise awareness of global issues and cover topics such as:
- climate change
- energy efficiency
- renewable energy
Low carbon and sustainable design advice
We provide technical advice and training on:
- low carbon building design
- energy efficient and sustainable design
- building operations and management
