Lochaber Service Change Updates

We have now entered the final phase of improvements to waste and recycling services, with residents in Lochaber receiving the updated service from September 2025.

To improve the efficiency of collections, we have reviewed and updated bin collection routes across Lochaber. As a result, collection days may change for some households starting from 1 September 2025. During the transition period, some households may also receive an additional collection to help manage the change.

Please read the letter we’ve sent to your household carefully, as it contains important information about your new collection schedule.

Flats with Communal Bins

Separate arrangements will be made for flats with communal bins. Residents in these properties will be contacted directly once individual blocks have been assessed.

Business Waste Customers

The deliveries are on schedule as detailed in the emails which have been sent out. Please note that business waste bins are being delivered separately from household bins.
