Who is the scheme for?
To experience the Highlands in the most comfortable way, we recommend that Campervans and Motorhomes make use of the regions excellent campsites. These high quality offerings include a range of services that will elevate your stay.
The Highland Campervan and Motorhome Scheme costs £40 and lasts for 7 days from the start date selected at the time of purchase.
The Highland Campervan and Motorhome Scheme is open to anyone who will be staying in a self-contained vehicle at any site in our network of dedicated overnight carparks. The use of outdoor tables, chairs and awnings is not permitted at these sites.
The scheme has been designed to work for rental customers as well as owners. The included benefits of the scheme have been selected to enhance your visit throughout the Highlands.
Highland residents who tour in self-contained Campervans and Motorhomes are also encouraged to support the Scheme. Council Tax contributes around 20% of the Council's overall budget for the provision of a wide range of statutory and non-statutory services.
Self-contained vehicles used for overnight stays have environment and local impacts. Income from the Voluntary Scheme will contribute directly towards further infrastructure development that will be of mutual benefit to your local stays and local communities.
