New housing developments
Integrated Housing Delivery Service
We have agreed a number of initiatives to address the Housing Challenge and ensure that it is doing what it can to build the projected 24,000 houses that will be required over the next 10 years.
We are pleased to offer applicants, with applications that relate to housing, the opportunity to engage with senior staff to discuss any issues they may be facing through what we call the Integrated Housing Delivery Service. This new approach allows applicants to participate in a roundtable discussion to address any challenges or delays that might be experienced.
If you have concerns involving an application that has not already been resolved by the case officer and you think that a discussion could help resolve it, we encourage you to take advantage of this service.
To assist, representatives from the Council’s key internal planning consultees, Transport Planning, the Flood Risk Management Team and Environmental Health will be available should this be required.
If you have a valid planning application for ten or more homes that is facing delays, and you believe a discussion could lead to a solution, please fill out this form to request a meeting for a 30 or 60-minute roundtable discussion. There is no fee for this service.
