How to vote

If you are on the electoral register you will be sent a poll card just before the election. if you're not, the deadline to register to vote is Monday 22 May

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday 8 June 2017.

Vote by post or proxy

For existing postal voters and new postal voters that applied for a postal vote by Thursday 11 May, the first issue of postal votes will be dispatched first class between Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 May.

For new postal voters that applied for a postal vote by the deadline of 5pm, Tuesday 23 May, the final issue of postal votes will be issued first class on Wednesday 31 May.

If you will not be able to receive your postal vote because you are away, you may need to consider applying for a proxy, to change your voting method, contact the Electoral Registration Office
