Cairngorms National Park Authority Election
Elections are held every four years to elect 5 community representatives to serve on the board of the Cairngorms National Park Authority. One community member will be elected for each of the 5 wards within the national park area.

The Notice of Election is now published and Nomination packs are available (see link below for each ward) and are also available from the selected local council offices detailed in the notice of election.

Nominations will close at 4pm on Wednesday 13 February 2019 and must be delivered to the appropriate office by hand or by post.
Following the close of nominations, the statement of persons nominated for each of the wards will be published here and all electors registered to vote within the park boundary will be eligible to vote in the contested wards and will receive their ballot papers by post on Tuesday 26 February 2019. The candidates with the most votes in each Ward will be elected to serve on the board for 4 years.
Ballot Papers must be completed and returned by 4pm on Thursday 21 March 2019.
