7. Community Asset Transfer – Former Altnaharra Primary School and Grounds

The Committee is invited to agree the Community Asset Transfer request for the property and grounds comprising of the former Altnaharra Primary School and Grounds to be sold to Altnaharra Community Trust SCIO at a nominal cost of £1, in line with the conditions set out in 8.2.

10. Short Term Let Control Area – Post Consultation Update

i. consider the consultation feedback and the potential implications that a STL Control Area will have on communities within Sutherland as set out in Appendix 2 and summarised in Sections 8, 9 and 10; and
ii. agree to recommend to Economy and Infrastructure Committee that Sutherland be included within the proposed Highland Rural Short Term Let Control Area, should any decision to submit a proposal for designation to Scottish Ministers be taken

12. Community Regeneration Funding Applications

There is circulated Report No SCC/27/26 by the Assistant Chief Executive - Place.
The Committee is invited to:-
i. note the Community Regeneration Funding currently available in Sutherland;
ii. consider the applications presented and agree whether to approve, defer or reject those applications. An approval of funding should detail the amount approved and outline any conditions of funding that Members wish to attach to the approval over and above the required technical conditions. A deferral would allow the applicant to resubmit the current application at a future date with updated information or for the project to be approved subject to further funding becoming available. A rejection would mean that the application will not proceed and any future application to the fund should be brought forward initially as a new expression of interest; and
iii. agree the approved CRF grant awards, subject to any conditions, up to the value of the available area allocation.
