Misuse of a Blue Badge
Local Authorities have the ability to cancel badges which have been reported lost or stolen and confiscate badges that are being misused.
Details of how a badge can be misused are detailed on the mygov.scot site.
Report misuse of a Blue Badge
To report the misuse of a Blue Badge:

It will help us if you can provide:
- details of how the badge is being misused - for example, someone else is using the badge when the badge holder is not in the vehicle or the vehicle is parked illegally
- the Blue Badge number and expiry date (if known)
- the name, address and vehicle registration number of the badge holder (if known)
- the name, address and vehicle registration number of the person misusing the badge (if known)
All reports of misuse will be thoroughly investigated, and any necessary action will be taken. While we may not be able to share the outcome with you, we may contact you for additional information.
