Apply for a parking permit
All permit applications must be made online.
Before you begin
You will need:
- a scanned or photographed copy of your vehicle registration document (V5) registered at the address for the Permit (not applicable if you are applying for a visitor's permit only)
- proof of residence such as Tenancy agreement, Mortgage agreement, Driving licence, House insurance document, Council tax bill dated current year
- to be familiar with all current terms and conditions
Important: We may reject applications if the vehicle is not considered "Road Legal" - for example, if it lacks valid insurance, road tax or MOT.
Apply for a permit
If your application is refused, any payment will be cancelled or refunded. However, issued permits are non-refundable under normal circumstances.
If you need help
If you experience technical issues or your address is not appearing in the system, email our parking permit team with details and a contact number.
Charities, places of worship, and B&Bs may be eligible for additional services - get in touch to discuss options.

Change of vehicle
In future, if you change your vehicle and still have a valid permit, use the online process to amend your details.
