Upgrading a play area works best when a local, constituted group leads the project. You can:

  • join an existing community group in your area
  • set up a new group with a simple constitution
  • recruit volunteers to help with fundraising and engagement

  • choosing equipment that is inclusive, safe and low maintenance
  • designing the layout of the site
  • understanding health and safety requirements
