Apply for a Non-Material Variation
You can apply if you are:
- the person who was granted planning permission
- acting on their behalf with their consent
- a successor in title to the land

Submit a request for a non-material variation
If you need to submit supporting information or revised plans, upload them through the ePlanning.scot portal using the Post Submission Additional Documents (PSAD) option after submitting your form.
Fees
A fee is payable for all non-material variation requests. When making payment, quote NMV.
We cannot process your request until payment has been received.

What happens next
We will assess your request. Approval of a non-material variation is at the discretion of the Planning Authority.
If approved, we will issue a decision confirming the variation forms part of the original planning permission.
If we decide the change is material, you will need to submit a new planning application.
