What you cannot bring in a van or trailer
You cannot bring certain types of waste to a recycling centre if you are using a van or trailer. These can only be brought to a recycling centre in a car.
This includes:
- waste from building or renovation work
- soil, rubble, bricks or tiles
- plasterboard
- bathroom fittings like toilets, sinks or shower trays
- kitchen units or worktops
- doors, windows or frames
- timber from construction or demolition
- insulation materials
- pipes, guttering or drainage materials
We will not accept mixed loads that include any of these items.
