Before starting work
If you need to close a road to carry out work, you need to request a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO).
Ensure the following steps are completed before starting any work:
- do not commence work until you have received official permission from us
- read the guidance notes carefully to understand your responsibilities
- review the charges
Charges
- Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO): £1,568
- Extension to TTRO (if required): £584
- Weekly inspection fee (or part thereof): £115
Invoices will be issued for all charges. We do not accept cheques or cash.
