Inverness Park and Ride

Torvean Park and Ride

Torvean Park and Ride is located next to the Tomnahurich Roundabout on the A82 south west of Inverness, giving easy access into the city and for connecting services to Drumnadrochit, Fort William, Oban, and Skye.

It is a practical option for:

  • shopping trips
  • appointments
  • sightseeing
  • visits to Inverness Castle Experience
  • campervan and motorhome visitors
  • people who want to combine a city visit with a canal or park walk

The Park and Ride does not have its own postcode, but the postcode IV3 5TD will enable you to reach the site (what3words ///trips.sound.circle).

The site is ideal for traffic arriving from the A82. Park at Torvean and continue into Inverness city centre by bus in around 5 minutes, on foot in 30-45 minutes, and wheeling in just over 10 minutes.

Torvean is also more than a parking stop. With Torvean Park, the Caledonian Canal, Torvean parkrun and nearby canal-side walks, it is a great place to begin or end a visit to Inverness.

Parking

Parking at Torvean is suitable for cars, motorcycles, light goods vehicles and motorhomes.
