Explore Torvean before or after your city visit.
Torvean Park and Ride is a handy starting point for more than a bus journey. Walking from Torvean Park and Ride into Inverness city centre is a 30-45 minute journey. Cyling takes just over 10 minutes.
Cycling and eBikes
A sheltered bike storage rack is situated at the entrance to Torvean park. The Park and Ride is also home to a HI-BIKE electric bike docking station, operated by HITRANS, the regional transport partnership for the Highlands and Islands.
Torvean Park and Torvean parkrun
Torvean Park is close to the Travel Hub and offers an attractive green space for walking, running or stretching your legs before heading into the city. The park is home to a Disc Golf course.
Torvean parkrun takes place at Torvean Park, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness, IV3 8JL every Saturday. It is a free weekly 5k community event where people can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate.

Caledonian Canal walks
Torvean is also close to the Caledonian Canal, making it a good choice for anyone who wants to combine their trip into Inverness with a waterside walk.
For those who want a longer walk, the canal route can take you towards Dochgarroch Lock and An Talla, the Jacobite café and shop destination on the canal.
