Bus services to and from Torvean

Torvean Park and Ride is a key transport hub, served by a number of bus operators and offering routes to and from a diverse range of destinations. These services are part of the £2 Bus Fair Cap Pilot programme from Transport Scotland. Always check the latest timetable before travelling.

Highland Council Buses

Highland Council Buses service 16 operates between Ness Castle, Torvean Park and Ride and Inverness City Centre. It provides easy access to the Inverness Castle Experience.

Travelling into Inverness on Highland Council Service 16? Passengers using the Service 16 Park and Ride route can receive 10% off at the Saltire Bistro at the Inverness Castle Experience.

Simply show your valid Highland Council Service 16 bus ticket at the Saltire Bistro to claim the discount.

Stagecoach Services

Service 2

The Craig Dunain-Woodside Village service provides regular connections between Torvean, Raigmore Hospital,and residential areas on the east and west edges of the city.

Torvean is between City Centre Academy Street/Queensgate and Charleston Mile End.

Service 17

The Inverness-Tomich service links Torvean with Inverness and communities along the Loch Ness corridor, serving locations including Dochgarroch, Lochend, Abriachan, and Drumnadrochit.

Torvean is between Inverness Plat 1/Queensgate and Lochend Bus Shelter.

These services operate seven days a week, with reduced services on Sundays.

Citylink Services

Travel from Inverness to either Isle of Skye or Fort William and Oban with Scottish Citylink's direct and scenic coach services, the 917 and 919. This service operates all year, with reduced timings in the winter.
