Vape ban enforcement and penalties
Local Trading Standards teams are responsible for enforcing the ban in Scotland.
Businesses found in breach of the regulations may face:
- Seizure of non-compliant products
- A Fixed Penalty Notice of at least £200
- Criminal prosecution with fines up to £5,000
