Improving early years outcomes
The Early Years Improvement Group brings together people with experience and knowledge from across Highland to help shape policies and guidance for young children’s services.
The group:
- monitors and evaluates how services are delivered and improved
- uses self-evaluation to guide its work - this includes feedback from:
- professionals
- parents and carers
- children and young people
- statistical data
How improvements are made
The group agrees on actions and measures based on this feedback.
Members are responsible for coordinating, progressing, and reporting on specific actions from the Improvement Plan.
Listening and engaging
The group is committed to regular consultation and engagement with children, young people, and parents. Their views are essential in shaping and improving services.
