New electric ferry
On 29 May 2025, the Economy and Infrastructure Committee approved the vessel procurement strategy for the new Corran Ferry. This marks a key milestone in the project and confirms a continued partnership with Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd (CMAL) through their Small Vessels Replacement Programme (SVRP).
