Road Infrastructure
As part of the Inverness and Highland City-Region Deal, Transport Scotland is progressing two major road infrastructure projects:
- the East Link Road connecting Inshes and Smithton
- the grade separation of the A9/A82 Longman Roundabout
These projects aim to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion and support economic growth in the region.
The Scottish Government has committed £109 million to support this work.
