Joint owners
If a property has more than one owner, one must be nominated as the lead landlord. The lead landlord is responsible for paying the principal application fee.
Joint owners do not pay the principal fee unless they are also the lead owner of another property or are subject to a late application fee.
Each owner will have their own registration linked to the jointly owned property and must renew their own registration.
Letting agents
Since January 2018, commercial letting agents must be registered on the Scottish Letting Agent Register.
