How to register
You can apply online or by downloading and submitting an application form to us with the appropriate fee.
Valid applications and penalties
If a valid application is not submitted after two requests from us, a late application fee of £164 will be charged in addition to the registration fees.
Failure to apply may result in a rent penalty notice for each property, meaning no rent can be collected until a valid application is submitted and the notice is revoked.
Continued failure to apply may lead to a report to the Procurator Fiscal, a criminal conviction, and a maximum fine of up to £50,000.
