Contractor requirements
You may apply before or after selecting a contractor, but your contractor must:
- be HAUC-accredited under the 1991 Act
- hold £5 million Public Liability Insurance
Contractor responsibilities
Contractors must:
- be supervised by a qualified person
- have a trained operative on site at all times
You are advised not to pay your contractor until the works are approved by us
