Pay your council rent

Pay by direct debit

Setting up a Direct Debit is the easiest way to make sure your rent is paid on time.

You can choose how often you pay:

  • weekly on a Friday
  • every 2 weeks on a Friday
  • monthly on the 1st, 15th or 28th
  • every 3 months on the 1st of April, July, October and January (only for garage, garage site or land accounts)

To set up a direct debit for paying council tax:

  1. Download and complete a direct debit form
  2. Return to your local service point or post to the address listed on the form

Charge-free weeks
