Things you can put in your grey bin

  • nappies
  • sanitary products
  • polystyrene packaging
  • pet waste (bagged)
  • plastic film and wrappers
  • broken toys (without batteries)
  • vacuum cleaner contents
  • cold ashes (bagged)

Do not put these in your bin

  • soil, rubble or heavy items
  • hot ashes or corrosive substances
  • items with batteries (like vapes)
  • glass
  • electrical items
  • liquids

If your bin is overloaded or contains the wrong items, it may not be emptied.
