Alterations and repairs
No structural alterations are allowed, but you can add fixtures and fittings like shelves with the maintenance officer's permission.
Repairs
We will carry out repairs to Council-owned garages to keep them wind and watertight.
If you do not report a repair or delay reporting it, we may carry out the work and charge you for the cost.
We do not carry out repairs on garages built on garage sites. These garages are your responsibility, even if you bought the garage from a previous owner.
Most repairs are routine and may take up to 20 working days.
