Major development screening
If you are not sure whether your development needs Pre-Application Consultation (PAC), you can submit a Pre-application Screening Notice. This asks us to confirm if PAC is required.
We will review your notice and send you a statement within 21 days. The decision is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
What to include in your notice
Your notice must include:
- a description of the development
- the site address (if available)
- a plan showing the site boundary in red
- contact details for the applicant and any agent
- whether a screening opinion or direction has been issued for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
- details of any previous PAC
We may ask for more information if needed.
