Fees
A fee is required for most types of review by the Planning Review Body. The fee will depend on the type and scale of the proposed development. Certain types of development benefit from a fee reduction or waiver. The Fee Calculator on the eDevelopment portal will assist you with working out if any fee is required. New notices of review will be acknowledged but not progressed until any fee required has been received in full. Fees will be checked at the point of validation, and you will be informed of any outstanding balance.
The scale of fees for reviews is set by the Scottish Government through The Town and Country Planning (Fees for Local Reviews) (Scotland) Regulations 2025. The fee scale provides information on the fees payable.
