Submitting a Notice of Review

Fees

A fee is required for most types of reviews conducted by the Planning Review Body. The amount depends on the type and size of the proposed development. Some development types may be eligible for a fee reduction or waiver.

The Fee Calculator on the eDevelopment portal can help determine whether a fee is necessary. New review notices will be acknowledged but will not proceed until any required fee has been paid in full. Fees are checked during the validation stage, and you will be notified of any outstanding balance.

The Scottish Government sets the fee scale for reviews through the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Local Reviews) (Scotland) Regulations 2025. The fee scale provides detailed information on the payable fees.
