Libraries
For families educating their children at home, libraries can offer:
- an ‘institutional’ borrower ticket that allows you to borrow additional items. You can ask for this at your local library
- up to three hours per day on PCs - usually booked in 30-minute slots. It may be possible to extend this time through local arrangements, subject to availability and demand. Discuss this with the local staff
- up to 10 pages of black-and-white printing free of charge to support your family's educational needs. This includes photocopying or print-from-network printing, available on each visit
Your local Network Librarian can be contacted for further questions. This service is available to all families who are home educating their children via the Highland High Life Highland public library network.
