Planning and Building Standards payment options

Pay online, with your application

ePlanning.scot and eBuildingstandards.scot lets you pay your application fee while submitting your application.  This is the fastest way to pay for your application and as long as you have provided all of the other information required, helps us to validate your application quicker.

Pay separately from your application 

We encourage all customers to pay online via ePlanning.scot or eBuildingstandards.scot at the time of submission. You can pay separately from your application to Highland Council using the payment options below but please be aware that we will not be able to make your application valid until the payment has been reconciled to your application.

Please quote your application/online reference number.  Alternatively quote 'Pl Applic' or 'BW Applic' or 'CAG ' and your surname. If you are acting on behalf of a third party, quote the applicant's surname which can link up your payment with their application. If you do not have a reference number, please supply a contact telephone number so that we can contact you if we need more information.

Proof of your payment must be sent via email to: ePlanning@highland.gov.uk (Planning Payments) or eBuildingstandards@highland.gov.uk (Building Standards payments) or by post to eProcessing centre, The Highland Council, Headquarters, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness, IV3 5NX. 

Failure to do this could result in delay in progressing your application.

If you already have an application number, please quote this when making payment. If you have not submitted your application, please take note of the receipt number that will be provided and quote this on your application form at the time of submission so we can reconcile your payment..
