eDevelopment.scot is a free online service provided by the Scottish Government. It allows you to prepare and submit applications for:

  • planning permission
  • building warrants
  • appeals
  • and more, directly to your authority

Getting started

To use the ePlanning services, you must first create an account on eDevelopment.scot.

Once registered, you can use the platform with a login.

Drawing and supporting information will be required upon submission - use our Guide to types of permission and checklists to make sure you include all the required information when you apply.
