Responsibility for gas safety
We are responsible for carrying out an annual gas safety check in every council house with a gas supply to ensure your home remains safe and compliant with regulations.
Your responsibilities
In order for us to carry out these safety checks you:
- must allow us into your home to carry out these checks
- should let us know if you have not had such a check in the last 12 months
- must make sure that all air vents are clear from obstructions
